Accent Reduction Assessment

The ARC offers a full evaluation of your accent as it compares to Standard English pronunciation. Upon enrollment, a link will be provided to you via email which will give you access to our full online evaluation. You will record yourself in a 4-part evaluation which will instruct you to:

• Read 66 words and putting those words into simple sentences
• Read a passage provided
• Listen to a model speaker and copying their manner of speech as best as possible
• Provide a spontaneous speech sample

 

Once your evaluation is complete, it will be sent to one of our certified trainers for analysis. Within 3 days you will receive a written report which will provide detailed descriptions of your specific pronunciation errors as well as assessment in the areas of intonation, rate of speech, word and sentence stress, and linking abilities.
